I am a proud fourth-generation Detroiter, Black queer feminist, oral historian, archivist, and memory worker. Through my work, I use archiving and storytelling as tools to help build the beloved community necessary for a liberated future. I am especially committed to ensuring that the stories of Black people particularly Black women and Black queer and trans communities are preserved, honored, and shared for generations to come.

Currently I serve as the Co-Director of Black Bottom Archives, where I work to preserve and amplify the legacy of Black Detroit. I also serve as the Instruction and Outreach Archivist at the WSU Walter P. Reuther Library, the largest labor archive in North America.
